Not only do they provide top class football, the Euros are educational too. Kâzim Richards, an Englishman, decided after not qualifying for England's national side, to join Turkey, where one if his parents was born.

To gain Turkish citizenship, he, as all Turks, had to take a Muslim last name. And so Kâzim Kâzim was born. Good to know that if I suddenly become among the best footballers in the world I could join the Germans, perennial favorites in both Euro and World Cup competitions.
