Anne, describing my cooking to someone, said I made cream and butter soup. This got me to thinking about how to concoct such a soup.

It seems like it'll be really tasty. I may have to spend some time in the kitchen next week when I get back from California. But should the base be cream, or butter? And how can I get bacon involved?

  • No no no, if you add bacon (you bacon fiend), it wouldn't be cream and butter soup anymore.

    But if you must add bacon, can we add potatoes and sour cream and chives and cheese and just have baked potato soup?
