merry dickmas

As ridiculous Christian groups decry “christmas hating” as a sign of the decline of moral values in our country, it occurs to me that we should let them argue all they want about whether Macy's is run by sodomites because its signs read Happy Holidays.

There is an opportunity for the religious and secular left to coalesce around a set of moral values that places our families above what we can buy for them. Values not offended by the consideration of other cultures at this or any other time of year, but by the constant conditioning to shop ourselves happy.
